Rich History.
Rich in Nutrition.

In the early 1990s, following the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, Russian scientists began researching natural compounds that could support the body’s ability to manage environmental toxins and radioactive contaminants.

Their research led them to Laminaria Japonica, a nutrient-dense brown sea kelp sourced from the pristine Kuril Islands in the Far East of Russia—one of the cleanest and most unspoiled marine environments on the planet.

Today, King of Kelp continues this tradition using the same species of Laminaria Japonica, sustainably harvested from these untouched waters.

The King of all Kelp’s

King of Kelp is a powerful 45:1 concentrated extract of Laminaria Japonica, meaning approximately 45 kilograms of raw sea kelp are used to make 1 kilogram of finished extract. Using patented low-temperature vacuum extraction technology, the most valuable naturally occurring compounds are concentrated into a highly bioavailable and digestible form.

Naturally rich in organic iodine, fucoidan, laminarin, sodium alginate, and over 70 trace minerals, this premium seaweed extract delivers the nutritional compounds that have made Laminaria Japonica one of the world’s most valued seaweeds for generations.

How We Create King of Kelp

Each step of our process is designed with care to ensure you get the purest, most effective product.

Wild Harvested
Wild Harvested

Laminaria japonica is hand-harvested by divers in the waters surrounding the Kuril Islands, allowing the kelp to naturally regrow.

Traditionally Sun Dried
Traditionally Sun Dried

Freshly harvested kelp is hung across wooden racks and naturally dried by the sun and coastal winds using traditional Japanese methods.

Rehydrated & Extracted
Rehydrated & Extracted

The dried kelp is rehydrated, carefully processed and mechanically pressed to separate the concentrated extract from its fibrous material.

Cold Vacuum Dried & Concentrated

The extract is gently vacuum-dried at low temperatures, then finely milled into King of Kelp's finished 45:1 concentrated powder.
